Chapter 2

The twins walked into the school.The principal was waiting for them in the office.So notebooks in hand the 2 kids walked towards the office.When they walked in the principal greeted them."Have a seat.",the twins sat down and started asking questions.Sam started"Did you tell the police,yet?""Yes,however I haven't allowed them to investigate yet so that the students aren't alarmed."replied the principle wiping his brow."So Ms.Tan was found dead behind the stage set by Ms.Mason?""Yes,I'm afraid."Jane quickly asked a couple more question.Back at home the twins told each other their thoughts.Jane said"So Ms.Tan was killed between 9 and 10. Last seen with Mr.Nicholas,found by Ms.Mason."So  the people out should be the murderer,right?said Sam"Yes, we have to find out a alibi (proofs that the suspect is where he or she said to be)and a motive (reason).First suspects( are people who are under suspicion of committing the crime) are Mr.Nicholas and Ms.Mason."said Jane."Last week,both Ms.Mason and Mr.Nicholas got into a fight with Ms.Tan,that could be their motive."Yes,but remember Ms.Tan wasn't a liked person it could be anyone don't focus just on these two.The janitor is also always out and about.We need to find an alibi or a witness(a person who has a connection or information about the case)."replied Jane."Got it,tomorrow lets ask around for information.""Okay after that lets meet up at lunch.Lets do this!"cried Jane.

    You cannot stop the police from investigating. So the twins has to so things that the police won't do. Maybe the police thinks that Ms Tan accidentally killed herself. Then the twins can continue to investigate.
